Originally from Thailand, Thanchanog is a multidisciplinary artist based in Singapore. Her citizenship renunciation and migration history have compelled her to work around the theme of identity using both traditional and new media and involving light as the key material. Thanchanog employs painting, photography, moving images, and graphics to recreate her own space beyond the the physical realm. Directly or indirectly, light is manipulated as the constant among these media to explore the notion of time and consciousness traversing autobiography and memories.
